Before/After Care K-5

The Howell PAL provides before and after care to K-5 students in the Howell Township School District.

Before care begins at 6:30 AM and lasts until school starts, while after care begins at the end of the school day and ends at 6 PM.

In addition, the Howell PAL offers a day-off program and a July & August Summer Camp.

FAQs

  • Yes, we do have Aftercare of half days; we do suggest that you pack an extra drink and snack since they will be with us longer!

  • No, as long as it is a scheduled day for your child there is not any extra charge.

  • You will need to email the school secretaries and the PAL Main Office at info@howellpal.org if your child will not attend aftercare.

  • Yes, as long as they don’t need bussing. If they do need transportation, we will have to make sure that they have a spot on the bus. We do ask for three days notice before a child can start.

  • Unfortunately, no. We do require 2 days a week minimum scheduled for all AM/PM programs.

  • They will be guided to do their homework and can ask for help. It isn’t 1:1 tutoring, so we do advise parents to check it when they get home. Depending upon the pace at which your child works at, they may come home without their homework being completed. If the weather is nice, students will go outside to play. We also have access to the school gymnasiums as well. Arts & crafts will be provided at each of the sites.

  • We do not give refunds or credits for any missed days.
